Preschool Camp

All boys and girls ages 3-5 who have not completed Kindergarten will participate with our preschool camp where they will do crafts, play games, watch puppet shows, eat snacks, and listen to stories centered around the “Power Lab” theme. Every child who participates must be potty trained.

Martial Arts Camp

Boys and Girls who have completed 3rd-5th grade will participate with entry level non-contact Tae-Kwon-Do activities. Participants should wear appropriate clothing such as sweat pants or shorts, t-shirts, and athletic shoes.

This year’s camp will be led by 3rd degree black belt Bob Kuda.

Cooking Camp

Boys and Girls who have completed 3rd-5th grade will prepare desserts, snacks and a meal each day. Because participants will be preparing a meal each day, they do not need to pack a lunch. This camp is not recommended for any children with any food allergies.

Art Camp

Boys and girls who have completed K-5th grade will spend the week participating with various hands-on projects such as sculpting, painting, and other crafts. Each child who participates should bring an extra shirt or apron that they can wear over their clothes while they participate with projects that can be “messy.”

Cheerleading Camp

Elementary girls who have completed K-5th grade will spend the week practicing and learning basic skills of cheer leading and several cheer routines. The girls will cheer for a basketball game on Friday. Participants should wear appropriate clothing such as sweat pants or shorts, a t-shirt, and athletic shoes.

Dance Camp

Elementary girls who have completed K-5th grade who sign up for dance will spend the week practicing a dance routine to a popular upbeat “Pop” song. On Tuesday each participant will receive a CD of the song so that she can practice during the week. Each girl should wear appropriate clothing such as sweat pants or shorts, a t-shirt, and athletic shoes. The girls will perform their dance routine during our Kidz Kaboom Rally on Friday afternoon.

This year’s camp will be led by professional Zumba instructor Lyndsi Harvey.

Basketball Camp

Elementary boys and girls who have completed K-5th grade will spend the week practicing and learning basic skills of the game and will scrimmage another team on Friday. Children who participate with the basketball camp do not need to bring a basketball or water. These things will be provided. All participants should wear appropriate clothing such as shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes. In the event that we have rain the participants who are signed up for basketball will stay inside and watch a movie.

This year we will have a special guest instructor Seth Franco, a former Harlem Globetrotter.
